IT'S HERE
So after all the waiting (ya i know it was only a week) it has finally arrived! it feels like it was packed very well but what i found was very shocking!
So i grabbed a trusty Kitchen knife and started cutting off all the
tape, i always cut only at the box seams so you don't accidentally cut
anything! However this time i got a surprise! there was a cable tucked
in like an after thought and i almost cut right through it!!!
so after carefully removing the cable i took everything out of the box
and what did i find? 2 more boxes! YAY!!! I like boxes =D
So we tackle the small box first, once its removed it revels the
power supply and controller board already mounted to the mounting
board! Not sure if i like where this is headed
So on to the next box, inside it? Another box! I like boxes as much as the next guy but this is getting a bit crazy!
And what inside this box you ask? My fear when i started a bunch of foam wrap covering an assembled printer =(
So after removing all the wrap and boxes this is what i get! even
though it all looks good it's not! it looks like this was slapped
together for a photo op or something to that effect because nothing is
tight! Its all a little wobbly and loose so it looks like I'm going to
have to go through every part and tighten everything up. This may be a
good thing because when it comes to 3D printers you want to know
everything that goes into your printer, every nut, bolt, and zip tie!
So that is the job for tonight and tomorrow I will take any relevant photos and make a reassembly post when I'm done!
